I just installed a FAST TB to go w/ the FAST intake. The FAST TB has 2 notches for the cable throttle to go in. We tried the first notch, and it fit, but wouldn't open the TB all the way under WOT. We found out how to take the slack out and made the first notch fit, but like I said, it wouldn't open the TB all the way under WOT. I drove it with it in the first notch, and it was great, but when I went WOT, it bogged. I know it is b/c the cable is not in the correct notch.

We know how to take the slack out, but we need to make it longer to fit in the bottom notch of the new TB. But when I put it down there, it opens the TB like almost an 1" or more, and I could only imagine what that would sound like as soon as I cranked it

So how do I lengthen the throttle cable to fit this bottom notch of the FAST TB?

i just used the notch that you are already using. it took some tweaking with tightening the cable tensioner, but it opens all the way. i tightened it so that it was just on the very edge of being held open.

i don't think you can lenghthen the cable enough with the factory adjustment to reach the bottom notch
