How hard is it too.....

Install the SSRA or the Fast Toys Ram Air kit? About how much labor and is there any cutting involved?

I put the FTRA on my car in my driveway, took me a couple hours by myself. Some cutting of the lower airbox was still required, even after doing the FRA mod earlier. Not hard at all, comes with good directions.

If you're comfortable using a dremel, it's cake. If you go with the SSRA, be ready to use screws underneath your front bumper to hold the lower scoop in place.

Re: How hard is it too.....

did my SSRA in about 2 hours going slow, in my driveway. and i had to do all the cutting for it (hadn't done the FRA).

you dont even need anything special for the cutting..i used a 1/2 of a hacksaw blade and vise-grips, then some sandpaper.

i hope you aren't thinking of having a shop install it? that would be like going to a mechanic for a wiper blade replacement.
