How does traction control work????
I just bought and LS1 rear end for my car and realized it has TCS on it. I need to figure out how to make this work in my car, with or without TCS being functional. Any ideas on how I can make this work without the TCS? Also, is the TCS controlled by the computer or just by a sensor on the brake like ABS (which in theory I could just put power to the TCS sensors and have TCS on a third gen)? Thanks.

they have two reluctor rings out back, one for each wheel - so it can sens whats going on each wheel independently.... This setup also means they have a 4 channel ABS system.. A non traction controlled ABS f-bod just has 1 reluctor ring (3 channel)
Don't quote me on this, but I believe TC cars also have more brake lines coming out because they individually control the back brakes..
Don't forget a line to give that pushback on the gas pedal too..
Its all handled by some computer.. seperate or not, i dunno..
I'm assume you just have to get an ABS ring off a non TC car and use that...

Well, on my 96 Z it just had a little electric motor that pulled the pedal back and closed the TB a bit. Maybe that also? I dno....
