how can you tell if...

going to tackle a plug and wire change tomorrow. my question is that after completed, how can you tell that all the wires are fully connected and all 8 plugs are firing? is there a certain noise i should listen for?

Trust me. You WILL know if all the wires aren't hooked up right and firing.

ok, i'll take your word for it. i may be a little slow, but if it's that obvious, i'll probably notice it. i guess that's good news. the bad news is that i still have an entire day of plug changing in front of me. thanks, GM, for giving us superb access to #8 plug...

If they are not working properly, you should get an SES or Check Engine light. I did a wire change about a week ago and one of the wires was too loose and the car did not idle very well.
