Since the Camaro didn't make it into Forza 2 with the latest update, I think we need to let them know that we would be happy if it made the next update.

Forza 2 is an awesome game, but it would be so much better if we can drive the next Camaro in it. So, let's make this a sort of petition right here! How cool would that be? People went nuts in the Lounge with their Forza 2 4th gen cars and designs. Heck..the customization feature alone will be an awesome tool for all of us who plan to buy a 5th gen and can do some easy visualization on how we want to make ours look.

- You have an XBox 360 and own/play Forza Motorsport 2
- You DO NOT have an XBox 360 or own/play Forza Motorsport 2, but WILL if they put the 5th gen Camaro in an upcoming Forza 2 update.

I'm pretty pissed and I let them know that on the Forza 2 boards. The most 'requested muscle car by GM' that I saw was the Fifth Gen.. and it's sort of a disappointment to throw a car in that should have been in the game to begin with if Smokey and the Bandit is really as popular as it is. The Challenger is already in there and they could argue that we don't quite know the specs and the engines just yet, I can see that. Who knows if we'll get the chance to drive the Fifth Gen before Forza 3 comes out now though? Major disappointment, they'll lose sales to Pro Street now.

 

Heck yeah I play XBox 360, and heck yeah I'd be all over Forza 2 if they had a 5th gen Camaro

 

Def. want to see the 5th Gen. in Forza 2. Great competition for the Mustang and just plain cool to have in that game.

 

Signed! I was so excited when I saw a post saying that it was going to in this last update. After searching the forza forums, I needed to take a paxil for the severe depression that set in after realizing that it wasn't in the update.

I already made a post like this on the official Forza2 forums, in their "car request" thread, expressing sadness that it wasn't in (everybody thought it was since they said one of the most requested muscle cars from GM was in the car pack...lots of people have been like what... )

How about they do a Chevrolet update, the way they did with Nissan. They added a bunch of '07 nissan models a couple months back in a special nissan release, and added a new track as well.

I think I'd like to have a GM pack. Containing the soon to be revealed ZR-1 corvette, the 5th Gen Camaro Concept (though the production version would be ok too!), one of the C6R's from the latest season, a Solstice GXP (they only have the base version), the Pontiac G8...heck maybe even the upcoming re-done cobalt SS that's sporting the 260hp turbo Ecotec instead of the supercharged one from a year ago.

 

I was quite disappointed the Camaro didn't make it (heck the Challenger concept was in the first pack), but I don't think a petition would help.


I am pretty sure Nissan paid for that. I think it was a great marketing idea myself. Not sure if it would be worthwhile for GM though.

 

count me in... and I agree with the Chevy Pack or GM pack...
