I put mine in my '98 Z with no problems. It's a good addition BTW. What is preventing it from fitting. Are the towers too far apart? Does it fit under the windshield?

Do you have the spacers under the brackets on right and the brackets on the right way and side? There shouldn't be any difference between an '01 and '02 and mine fit. I just had to bend the dipstick tube a bit so it cleared.

I think the bracket holes are wrong.I got to looking at the parts picture that came with it and it shows the holes that go on the strut studs the opposite way my brackets are drilled. If the pattern was switched everything would line up.The spacer I can move around to fit.The bracket is so out of line that brace itself will almost fit backwards.I thought maybe there was a differance between 02 cars and others.I'm going to contact Hotchkis and tell them about it.In the morning I'm going to drill the holes the other way.
Thanks to all for the help.

Each bracket can only go on one particular side of the engine bay and have the brace fit. Perhaps you have them installed backwards. The instructions are not real clear about which bracket goes on which side of the engine bay.
The end of the bracket where the brace attaches should be to the outside of the engine bay. The bolt hole which is centered should go over the outside strut tower stud (1 of 2). The offset hole should be inboard of the engine bay and toward the rear.
Try putting the brackets on with out the stud nuts. If the brace won't go on, switch the brackets and try again.
Another suggestion is to look at some web pictures of the Hotchkis STB installed. Then determine if thats how you installed yours.

Hope this helps.
