Question Hotcam + Mac mids + MAF translator

I'm looking for your expirience with these parts, and opinions.

GM hotcam, Mac coated mid-lenghts w/offroad Y-pipe, and MAF translator shipped to my door for ~$1100. I already have 3" catback w/electric cutout and lid/filter. Also bought the car with hooker shorties, gutted cats, O2 simms, ripper shifter and 4.10 gears. Chassis/suspension stuff so far is BMR SFC's, STB, relocation brackets(lowered ~1.25" w/Koni adj. in front) and boxed LCA's.

Emmisions are not too much a concern since I live in Michigan with no testing .

I'm on a tight budget so I'd probly get a few dyno pulls and adjust the MAF translator to get the most HP. Its going to be awhile before anymore mods(other than a clutch).

I was thinking maybe DR's too ($280 for stock size), but don't think I want to pick up pieces of my 10 bolt off the road.

Also with a hotcam will I need hardened pushrods and should I raise the max RPM? If so whats the most cost effective way to change it and be able to adjust A/F ratio? Or should I save $190 on the MAF translator and just stick with the stock tune(being an M6 it should idle with a little TB work)?

No personal experience but If it were me.
I'd skip the translator, get the pushrods. Then get it dyno tuned and have all the computer stuff (fan settings, idle, cags, speedo, O2s, rev limit, tune ect) taken care of all at once. APE or Detriot speedworks both have the equipment and the know how.
