Hooker Longtubes

I am going to be purchasing the non-coated hooker longtubes. With regards to the y-pipe, no cats, or cats. I am pleased with my sound now but would love louder. What I am looking for is mild (or as mild as possible) at idle, then as loud as possible at WOT. So do you think cats or no? Is there anything else I will need to purchase besides the headers and y-pipe to complete the install?

its gonna be pretty loud. i got on it one time with a cop about a block away and got a ticket for loud exhaust. i have a cutout though. needless to say i'm letting it flow thru my factory exhaust now (2000 ws6)

also, for the price of uncoated hooker headers you can get coated pacesetter headers. they fit the same and look the same. i made a few ppl mad when i told them what i spent on headers and then asked what they did. i spent 450 once it was all said and done where they spent well over 1k
