I was just waltzing around the internet today and came across this site. I did a little research and found that this is actually old hat in many import circles. I would guess it would work across the board though.

I'm kinda leary about a harsh ride with true polly mounts but this would be a great in between I would think. Also, the poly inserts are kinda difficult to install, this method might be doable without removing the mounts from the car. Just drive up some tire ramps, jack the motor up to remove the load from the mounts and fill in the open space around the rubber mount. And give it a weekend to dry. Anyone actually do something like this?

why would poly motor mounts cause a harsh ride???

i love mine...NO added vibration and the car hardly moves under load...cured all my clearance problems with the exhaust
