ok so whenever my car has been drivin, (in the city usually) for long periods of time, i develop a hisssing sound. it gets pretty damn annouying. this is only when the car gets hot i think. i took it up to a muffler place and they had a sonic hear of some sort and they told me it was the fuel pump. this was about 2 months ago.... still haven't had any problems besides that... does anyone know if it is the fuel pump or whatever else it could be??

 

Could be a vaccum leak, intake leak -leaking from the gasket- good luck.

Ive been having a loud hissing/metal clanking sound, when i turn my heat or a.c on though it goes away,anyone have an idea on what could be making a noise untill i turn on the heat or ac?

 

idk about that.... but mines not a vacuum leak, nor exhaust leak.... could it be the fuel pump?
