Hints, tips, suggestions...
Ok, I'm uninstalling my stock exhaust manifolds (finally got some LTs). The passenger is a friggin' PITA! Any suggestions on how to reach the studs near the dipstick and the far back one? These are really the only 2 that are a problem. Any tips or criticisms are appreciated...
Re: Hints, tips, suggestions...
i just installed mine last weekend. take the dipstick out, there is one 15mm (i believe) bolt holding it in on a bracket, and it just pulls out...that will give you access to those two bolts. The one in the back is the fun one. Jack up the car and go from underneath. After you take the cats off it gives you a lot of room. I have skinny arms so it wasn't too bad. Do a search, there are a few install guides online that may help. Hope this helps
Re: Hints, tips, suggestions...
i was able to do all my bolts from the top.
used a combo of a 3/8" drive and 1/4" drive socket.
make sure you pull the coil packs...it gives you tons of extra room.
look into my install guide, may find some helpful info

Ok, thanks guys. I'm not a mechanic so these simple questions are rocket science to me.
Is removing the coil packs a huge project, or is that a simple thing?
