High Speed Braking Problems, Car Feels Like Its Floating

I was going to go to Milan this Wednesday but decided not to until I figure this problem out. I don't know why this started happening? I was out on Saturday and was testing the car out. I got it up to about 110mph then started braking. The car felt like it wasn't attached to the frame. In straight line braking it wasn't to bad (not Great). If I moved the wheel at all it just felt like the body was floating, terrible handling feeling. I have noticed this one other time a couple weeks ago on the freeway. I was slowing down going into a turn at about 100mph (a long wide turn). I pushed on the brakes and again the car felt very loose. I checked my tire pressure las night and saw the fronts were down to about 29lbs. Can that be the cause or should I look for something else? The car has weld in subframe connectors. Other than that, the suspension is totally stock. The car drives fine other wise, Smooth even over 100mph. It's when slowing that I feel this.

Thanks for any help you can give.

The shocks are toast. Under braking the nose is diving, and there is little weight on the back tires. A set of Bilstien HD shocks all around will make a hige difference.
