Help....what cam to use....

My dad owns a 94 lt1 camaro and last week one of his lifters seized up on him. Now he has to take everything about to get it out. He decided since he is going to have to do all the work to take it apart that he doesnt want to put all the stock stuff back in. So what he is looking for a is a very mild cam that will give him a decent power upgrade.

Im not all too familiar with the LT1 so I told him id ask you guys. What would you guys recommend to go with?

Thanks a lot

This is LS1 tech... ..

But anyways, on stock heads the cc306 is not a mild cam, let alone "very mild."

If he wants to do something easy, and affordable and mild, the LT4 Hotcam is probably going to be your best bet. For $505 from samtaylor, you get the cam, lifters, springs, 1.6 roller rockers etc. With the cam and supporting bolt ons he should see atleast 320hp to the wheels.

We are running this cam in our 1996 Grand Sport Vette, very mild.....very streetable, and still sounds mean with the right exhaust. I would recommend this one, or you may wanna check out the cc305. I little more tame than the cc306.
