help please anybody! exhaust related

i need to remove my exhaust... its halfway done... if i can ever figure out how to pull the y-pipe off the single exhaust tube... from that clamp that DOESN'T COME OFF the single tube and the muffler and tips can just be pulled out the back correct? the pipe has a large vertical bend so that it goes up and above the rearend... if i take hold of the muffler and twist as i am taking it out... it'll come out right? or will i have to cut something?

Both times I've done this, the exhaust had to be cut. The only way I know how to take the exhaust off without any cutting is to disconnect part of the rear end, lift the car off of it, and slide it out that way.

No need to drop anything to install an exhaust system. It comes in sections that are clamped together. It's relatively easy once the stock system is out. Just depends on how **** you are with getting everything to line up "just right."

Re: help please anybody! exhaust related

find a flat surface to do the install...
use a level or something to get the tips straight...
a friend with an extra set of hands to hold things while you tighten everything down is a plus...
