Question Help! Pacesetter or Flowtech Headers? Which one? Need to know soon!

Hi guys.....I am going to purchase my headers this week. I am going with either the Pacesetters, or the Flowtechs. I need some opinions on which ones you guys think are better, and any experiences you've had with them. Also, should I go with the race version? I have O2 Sims on it already, and the cats gutted. I work at a GM dealer, so passing state requirements isnt a problem. I am getting a custom true dual setup, so a y pipe isnt really an issue either. Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated!

The Pacesetter Y pip is crap, but since that isn't an issue for you I'd go with which ever one you can get cheapest. T-bryne and Teaxas speed are both having specials now.

Thumbs up

Hey guys. thanks for the great replies. I had one more question....a buddy of mine bought a set of coated flowtechs for his Ls1, and is selling his car due to a "new arrival". He said hed sell em to me for 200 bucks. I went and saw them, and he hadnt even opened them yet. Brand freaking new! There wasnt even a fingerprint on them! Ill buy them if anyone can tell me that they are an ok brand. As long as they are not total crap, Ill take em. I figure $200, why not? If anybody thinks this is a worthwile deal, please let me know! Theuy arent going anywhere soon, because Im the only guy he knows that has an LS1. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again guys!

Pacesetter headers are okay. Hope yours fit better than mine, and don't even bother calling their cusomer service. I guess since your not using the Pacesetter Y-pipe you'll be okay. They weren't kidding when they said the Pacesetter Y-Pipe SUCKS.
