I just installed the lingenfelter /holley intake on my 99 SS but when i turn the key it starts fine shows normal fuel presure on elect fuel guage , but there is a massive whine/ siren noise and stalls imedietly unless i play with throttle but will die after a fews seconds anyway ... evertthing looks right but obousily i missed something or done something wrong .. anyone got any ideas ?

Defintely sounds like an air leak somewhere... something's not sealing properly. It may be tough to trace, but it should be a simple correction once found.

 

Check that the fittings after the MAF are sealed.

Can you hear a clanking sound, if the intake isn't sealed you can usualy here the valves clattering aways.
