Question Help me out with Brake Pads

My front pads are almost worn out and I need to get new ones within the next month. I want to have better pads than the stock ones that came with the car. I would really like to get some pads that have a pretty big amount of stopping power, but with little to no brake dust and some that I won't have to replace every 10,000 miles. Also some that I don't have to nuke in order to get that braking power. What do you guys recomend? By the way I don't want to spend a lot of money for them. I'd say between $80-200 for the front pair. Thanks....

Wink

I drive normal, by that I mean that I don't do sudden stops, unless some moron cuts me off, or test my ABS. I tend to be an aggressive driver but still a safe driver. Sounds like there is not a whole lot of people using a variety of pads....I'll keep searching. Thanks to the people that replied.

For a good alternative to stock without going to higher performance is Bendix. I also recommmend changing the rotors. Your old ones will warp. It's an easy job. Pads and rotors should run you about $150 or less. Again, these are not high performance parts. They are good quality replacements for everyday driving. I don't know much in the way of high performance brakes.
