Hey guys i have a big question. I recently had dynomouth installed on my car and i had the muffler guy put tips like these on my car http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2429071238 but because the shape the tip is, when exhaust is flowing through the tips it creates a resonation and sounds very ricey and just plain bad. Im not sure if anyof you guys have experienced this but i was wondering if you have....HELP ME LOL IM GONNA GO CRAZY

 

are you positive it's the tips doing it? i would think the dynomouth could easily cause that.

put some megs on it and see what happens

No, i'm positive that it is the tips and not the exhaust its self. I can tell this because when it begins to make this noise, if i stress the metal tips out the sound goes away. However, because the change in temperatures the tips regain their old shape after a while and the noise comes back. I have talked to one other guy about it, and i dont know how to get ahold of him. He had the same problem and was able to correct it...ahh i hate driving by another fbody owner and sounding ****ty

 

I have those tips on my car with a LoudMouth. It isnt the tips causing you your problem. Id look elsewhere

 

Maybe they sold you poor quality tips.
