Exclamation Help give me mod ideas please ...

Well I bought a 98 Z-28 and I have lots to learn about this car I never thought that I would own. If you guys could try to give me a list of good starter mods. Just simple bolt on stuff and maybe what kind of hp gains I would get out of them. The car is all stock except the driver has just been replaced.

You could start with a few of the free things depending on how confident you are in your abilities. Things like the free ram air mod, egr mod, ported throttle body, etc. You can find instructions @ http://www.installuniversity.com/ins..._documents.htm . After that, the first mods I'd invest money in would be a lid/filter for the intake and either a cutout or catback for the exhaust. The best suspension mod to start would definately have to be subframe connectors. I just got a set of BMR boxed sfc's welded in two days ago and all I can say is WOW! Hope this gives you a few ideas...good luck with it.

ram air (austin ram air, fast toys, or SLP)
lid (tsp, slp or any other they are all the same basically)
catback or a cutout

those three things combined would probably net you about 25hp total

suspension:

subframe connectors
strut tower brace
lower control arms
sway bars

Free Ram Air

Direct Flo Lid

!CAGS (if M6)

Pro 5.0 (if M6)

A bigger stall (if A4, do searches on this though)

Z28/rear CAMARO overlays/fillins

True Duals

Sub Frame Connectors

Those are a few good ones to start with. Not too expensive and some nice gains for starting with

A lid, cutout, ram air kit like the SSRA(Austin Ram Air). These are good for about 25rwhp.
