HELP!!!! FLP header install w/slp Bolton Sub Frames problem

Hey there. Anyone else here have FLP headers with SLP Bolton Sub Frame Connectors? What did you do to fix it? Any ideas/suggestions? I called FLP, and they said they have a different Y-pipe for $110, not including shipping, or they said I can have someone cut my sub frame connector, in order to make room for the y-pipe. What did you guys do? Please help. I can't go any longer without starting this puppy up. Thanks.

Michael.

I ran into that problem on my 2001 SS. Luckily the guy who made the prototype piece for FLP was doing my install so he had his prototype drivers side y-pipe at his shop & installed that. I had FLP send me their version but how it connected it was so tight to the floorboard it would have banged like crazy even if it fit. The same goes for Kenny Brown SFC's too. I'm buying his coated version of the modified FLP y-pipe so my new FLP's will fit on my 2002 WS6 with KBDD SFC's but as for you you may have to either bend the heck out of the drivers side y-pipe to make it fit or have a custom piece made. I have the prototype at my house but it's not coated & looks terrible & leaks, but it works & doesn't hurt performance. Good luck!
