Help on Cylinder 3 Miss

Ok I have a miss on my #3 cylinder. I pulled the wire and arced the spark from a screw driver to the body. My friend checked the plug and said it was firing. I took it all a part and put it back together and the code went away for like 15 minutes then came back. I need help cuz I be stumped

try switching the coil packs to the other side and see if the other side misses and the old miss is gone

if so you have a bad pack

I wouldn't think it would be the coil considering it is still firing fine and you would throw an ses code if the coil just quite working and for a miss on #3

Just because a plug fires does not mean that it's firing properly all of the time. Swap the coil with a different cylinder and see if the miss moves to that cylinder.
Missing can also be caused by a bad injector. Try swapping them around and see if the miss follows it.
Also could be a bent pushrod. While you're pulling the coils pull the tappet cover and check the pushrods on number 3.

Yea it ended up just being a bad plug on that cylinder
