Unhappy help, car going crazy

hey everyone,
So I just recently started having problems with my car and did some searching but I am still a little confused.

so i'll start at the beginning.....
I was cruising down the highway 60-65 in 6th and went to pass someone. And being in 6th gear the car kind of lagged to pick up speed, no biggie, then it started gaining, then it hesitated it only did it once so I didn't really think nothing of it. but when I got off the highway it kept doing it when I would start from a stop and row through the gears every time i reached 2K or so rpm in 1st, and 2nd, sometimes 3rd. so now i'm getting freaked out. When I romp on it though and really give it some gas it didn't do it.

So fast forward to the next day..
I'm cruising down the street and the car starts hesitating again around the same rpm, hmm. I get to a stop and the car starts losing oil pressure AND the rpms start falling starts sputtering like the motor is trying to stay on. So I decide to pull into wal mart real quick grab a quart of oil. I put it in and the low pressure and rpm falling goes away yay. So i come to a conclusion to change the oil and think it will help. nope . I start it up cold and I get the sputtering from the motor right away.

Everytime I am idling or going slow these symptoms will come up ( hesitation has gone away) can anyone help me out?? is it my oil pump?? I thought i'd be as detailed as possible to avoid confusion. please give any info you can thank you.

Your oil pump is not causing this problem. Your oil pressure is falling as a result of the motor. What is the code that is being shown from the light?

I don't know, I don't have any type of scanner or computer equipment for my car ( I need some for sure though). so the only way to tell whats wrong is to scan it?

Get to an Auto Zone, they will scan it and give you the codes for free. Usually a check engine light point right at the problem. Its not the only way, you could just start throwing parts at it

Of course you could just buy you a little scanner up there too, they have a small one I picked up for $50, good investment.

Yup, get the code(s) read and write them down and post - don't worry about the description.

Yes, the SES and the check engine light means the same thing - we have the SES.

OK, so u have:
0102. MAF circuit low input
0122. TPS sensor low voltage
0171. Bank 1 too lean
0174. Bank 2 too lean

Start with 0102, check the engine sensor fuse in the fuse block under the hood. See if its blown, pretty common, could make them all go away. Of course check all the connections at the MAF and TPS.

If the fuses are good, check to see if the MAF has any oil in it. That will kill it.

You don't put oil in the MAF.

What he was saying was to check to make sure the MAF isn't oily from excessive air filter lube or dirty. Get some electrical connector cleaner and spray the MAF if it's dirty.
