I just purchased the PRC 200cc Terminators and TSP 228R cam. I upgrades my timing chain to a comp adjustable ls1 ls6 chain and wasn't sure if I need to upgrade my rockers or not? Are the stock rockers good enough or will I get alot more power out of new better rockers? I think the stock ones are 1.7 the cam specs are as follows.

228/228 .588 .588 LSA 112 +2 advance

Please help me so I make the right decision.

 

keep the stockers and spend the $600-1000 on other mods.

 

He's right, spend that money where you need it! You can also save yourself some money by not purchasing the Adjustable timing chain and getting a LS2 timing chain instead.

 

What about the FAST 90/90 and should it be ported; if so then where can I get that done? Does it really help...

 

no need to port it for that h/c setup...it will flow just fine

 

Do you think porting will increase the hp and tq?

 

not really...they already flow like crazy.

i was almost gonna reccomend not to do the 90/90 on that setup...since the cam is fairly mild...the real gains with the fast on on big h/c setups.

on that setup going from an ls1 intake to an ls6 would gain you 15hp...for $300

going from the ls1 to the FAST 90/90 will gain you 25hp...and most of that will be in the high rpms...for the bargain price of $1200
