headers on stock catback
headers on stock catback
hey, just wondering what the sound would be like if I had some headers on a stock WS6 catback? I have a cutout, and when I'm racing I'll just open the cutout, but when it is capped I want the sound as close to stock as possible. would it just be completely obvious that I had headers or not? are shorty headers quieter than longtubes? just want better flow, but sound stock with the cutout closed.
thanks

thanks
I know of a guy who has macs with the ws6 cat back, you could tell a difference between stock. I dont know if he had cats in our not though. I'd assume that cats will keep it quiet. Though his car did sound quiet stealthy not loud at all.

I don't think headers are gonna do much man without gettin rid of that puny stock y-pipe and puttin 3" pipes up to the cutout at least. Even then headers and **** don't really shine until you get a cam... so smack your parents around a bit and tell em what's up and get a BIG *** CAM!
