Headers not the normal question

Headers not the normal question

This isn't the normal question of which headers. I want to know what everyones opinions are on the pacesetter uncoated headers with heat wrap. Is it a good Idea or will the still corrod quickly? I did a search but found nothing.

They will rust rust very quickly. If you do get them, have them coated. It is worth the money in the long run.

I ran a set of uncoated headers on my 70 for over 12 years in Houston. they'll last a long time, but will look rusty. My 00 has uncoated Macs that were a year old when I got them, they've been on my car for a year and a half and its my daily driver. They still look good, but if you're wanting a thermal barrier get coated. Thermal wrap will hold moisture next to the metal so it isn't advisable.

Get either stainless steel or coated headers.
