Headers, cat back exhaust...and the air pump...
Ever since I got my headers put on my check engine light came on thinking it was because I have no cats, but in a recent OBD2 reader points out the air pump circuitry is malfunctioning? Its wierd, anyone have a problem with the check engine light on after headers?
Wipeout- The computer uses the o2 sensor input to test the effiency of the air pump. Pump comes on and the o2's read lean until the pump goes off, then the computer knows all is working.
Now with no cats the o2 readings are way different during this testing and now the computer is unhappy about the new readings. Just my 2 cents worth.
