Still fighting the Borla rattle !!
Been going on for some time now - when the car gets hot (like after a good trashing
) and is brought to an idle, I'll get a rattling noise out of the passenger rear quarter. (Real raspy sounding - think of a saw on a hollow pipe.)
It is only heard inside the car - outside everything sounds normal.
So, the other day I tightened up the clamp on the pipe that goes over the axle leading towards the muffler. That helped tremendously , but it still "laughs at me"
by popping up on occasion.
Anybody else had this problem, and more importantly, Solved It ?
Thanks !!

I don't know about you, but they sent me the $h!t band clamps that never seem to work all that well. I went to AutoZone and picked up some 3" exhaust clamps (the ones that look like a horse shoe with a bracket on the end + 2 bolts) and installed them. Since then, my exhaust system hasn't moved.
If you're not 100% sure it's the exhuast, get the car warm so it'll make the noise, put the car up on ramps/jack stands and get under there and see if you can find the source. Good luck with it!
