Re: Which Headers?

I have three different answers to this question.

Best bang for the buck:

Pacesetter coated with either ORY or TSP catted Y.

Best Headers with no cats and no spending limit:

Kooks stainless steel with ORY.

Best Headers with cats:

Dynatech supermax stainless steel header system.

The only reason I pick Dynatech over Kooks if cats are being used is because I have heard from several sponsors and owners that fitment is 100% perfect with no leaks. They are also one of the easiest to install (so I heard) and they are stainless steel. But they only come as a complete setup that has HF cats welded in. So if your the kinda person that needs every single HP and decibal then Kooks with ORY is more for you.

Re: Which Headers?

I've never had a problem with my Pacesetters, and TSP catted-Y.

Re: Which Headers?

I am going to be ordering my Pacesetters here in about a month. I am getting their ORY and hopefully it won't be too loud with my GMMG. If it is I'll just get some cats welded in.

Re: Which Headers?

I have the same set up, and with the catted-Y.......yes, it's going to be loud. But it's a loud with a tone...not the raspy loud. The sound is just awesome. I have gotten all kinds of compliments on my sound.

Re: Which Headers?

Thanks guys, I went with Hooker LT headers, ORY, and GMMG catback; all are on their way. I am waiting for UPS... So I can say bye bye to my tired Flowmaster.
