He paid $257 for the headers(uncoated) and I think $150 for the y-pipe. He got them from Mike@ New Era. And about the gains......WHOA It makes me really debate putting any more money into my LT1. He has the ORYP and a cutout thats always open, the car sounds meaner, deeper more throaty. Throttle response is improved, and the car pulls like crazy! In other words.....GO for the Pacesetter's period

Well, We got his from Mike@New-era. I think they are on sale with free shipping. I brought his car home with me the night before and made sure to spray all the bolts with some PB blaster, then again in the morning. Then I got the car hot and while it was hot I sprayed them again! They came out with no effort On the other hand, he already had a ORYP so we had already delt with the flange bolts which had broken off. That, and getting to some of the bolts on the pass. side manifold are kinda a pain. Other than that, the headers went right in with no fuss. Both from underneath, they just sliped right in and we bolted them up. The y-pipe was a little tight but not to bad either. All of the emiss. fittings lined up good with no problems. The car sounds much better(it sounded good to begin with) runs like a ******! Definatly worth it.
