Headers??????
Headers??????
Okay, should i get MAC mid lengths, Pacesetter, Flotechs, Hooker. I want a set of headers that are the easiest to install, great seal, and performance gains. I know where I can get pacesetter uncoated for $245, but i think I read they only give 8-12 rwhp.........waht happened to a solid 40 horses to the rear with headers????

somebody was smoking crack...no header will give that...well maybe longtubes replacing stock manifolds on a 1000hp engine
flowtech longtubes are great and last i checked were around $400
you don't need to worry about emissions do you?

Re: Headers??????
QTP Long Tubers!!!!!!!! Gonna cost you about $800 but you can get the most gain out of them especially with the high volocity collector at the end of em.
P.S. A SLP Loudmouth will compliment it well

Re: Headers??????
Ok I do think headers can net you 50RWHP but are they rating them at the motor or rearend? With my SLP LT I picked up around 33RWHP and 40RWTQ! Not bad! But the more you do the more it will help those ####.
Re: Headers??????
Long tubes are long tubes. The difference in prices reflects the materials used not performance benefits.
The Macs can perform right up there with LTs. When I was shopping I found that Flowtech and Pacesetter LTs and ORYs were cheaper than Mac's set up, but then I found a good deal on a used catted set up so I went that route.
Go which ever way you want. LT or mid. You can't really go wrong.
