Header Question

I have a 99 ta. Im gonna pick up some Flowtech LT's. They sell a set for 98-99 and then a set for 00-02.

I dont have an EGR or the AIR system anymore..due to the LS6 intake and tune. Do i buy the 98-99 set..or the 00-02 set?

Re: Header Question

when i bought mine, it seemed like they were selling "emissions" versions and "race" versions. the race didn't even have the air or egr provisions, which is what you are looking for....er..not looking for...you know what i mean.

the difference also is the angle of the AIR tubes on the 01+, that and not having egr are the differences. so it really doesn't matter in your case since you don't have them anyway.

Re: Header Question

Like he said, get race headers. No EGR-AIR stuff to block off.

Re: Header Question

For the Flowtechs, O didn't see a Race header. Only the 98 - 99 and 00 - 02 header. The 00-02 still has the AIR and EGR, it just comes with a blockoff plate for the EGR. So if you have the AIR and EGR deleted, it doesn't matter what year I guess.
