Header install tuning?

Sup guys. I will be installing a set of pacesetter headers and a Y pipe. I will also be taking off my cats and running o2 sims. Is it nessesary to do a dyno tune? What things will i need to have tuned? Also i did a base line dyno run today and my A/F was between 13 and 14 threw the entire pull, is this good? Any info would be great.

Thanks

My car ran crappy after header install. The car felt like it was gonna stall every time i went from a stop. After installing the performance tune from a diablo predator it was all better.I'm still waiting for a custom tune though.Dyno tuning is too expensive for minor mods like that. But a custom tune with the predator or ls1 edit is a good idea.

it might not be necessary but to get the most out of it youll need tuning.

If you plan on doing more mods to your car in the near future, you should probably wait to get it tuned. I'm waiting to tune mine after I get a cam. Hopefully I'll have much better dyno numbers with what I've done to my car.

my AF was tuned to 13:1 and runs great.id say youll benefit from tuning.

tuning is required anytime AFR is affected to get maximum performance and headers affect this.
