When turning head lights off bad noise, Both light moters work, and lights work?? Also when setting alarm with remote the lights open and close with bad noise, they have never done this befor. I know moters are good money to replase. Any one had same problem?? Please help!!

Hey man I know exactly whats wrong with your car. Mine did this about 2 weeks ago and nobody even gave me a reply on this forum on what to do about it. Nothing was in the search eithor. Anyway what has happened to your car happens. There is a PLASTIC gear that turns and makes the headlight go up and down. What has happened is that the gear threads have been stripped. Good thing is that only 1/2 of the hole gear threads are being used. There is an easy and quick way to fix this problem. It should take about 15-20 minutes. You might want to bookmark this page as the guy is having some gears CNC machined to the size of the plastic gears on our motors. So when the other 1/2 goes bad you don't have to pay GM 100-300 for a new headlight motor. Later
