Private Owner (near Red Robbins) selling this 99 C5 6spd or 26K, my brother offered 25k, and the car needs new tires, inspection, brakes, and new power window motor, so 25K was a very reasonable offer for both sides. Guy waited three days to response and said someone else is interested too. So we said good luck. Still seriously searching, but can't find what he's looking for; C5, 6spd, red, coupe, under 30k, with less then 40,000 miles alot harder to find then you might think within a 100 miles to find that exact car, we have every dealership in the tri-state area on the look out though, just a matter of time.

If he can find a C5, red, 6spd, coupe, under/around 40,000miles, for 26-30K, he'd be very interested.

Re: Guess My Dyno Numbers

I'm going to make my own guess at 392RWHP. If I make 400 I'd be elated with that number and very surprised. But i'll be happy with anything over 390. But, RapidMotor whose installing everything told me my car felt very strong earlier tonight when he took it out, but he's dyno tuning it tomorrow morning and I won't know for sure until noon tomorrow.

OneFlyn95Z28 had 390+ at the wheels using the stock injectors for awhile, running through an auto and a 12-bolt using hogged out LT1 heads and a GM847 cam.

"If I put a 230 cam in my lt1, i would probably make about 350rwhp as opposed to your 400."

exactly...that's what i was pointing out in the thread...and got insulted for it :blah:

here was his stock LT1 heads result with a bigger cam than mine:
"futral cam 234/241 .576/.598 112lsa i have mac mids (will soon have lt's) and a STOCK tb ( ) after a little tuning we got it to 349 rwhp"

im told i really need bigger injectors. im at 370rwhp. i do have a pcm problem and thats getting fixed same day as injectors. ill have the retune done first, do a pull with the stockers and then do the 42lb kit. have to have it adjusted for them, and then do a second pull with them to see if/how much the injectors were killing me. will post the results in a few weeks when i go.

I wonder how much a 234 cam would make in an ls1.

You were probably insulted because of the way you said whatever you said. Plus, Lt1 guys don't want to hear that their head design is inferior. We are very aware of that and its frustrating.

My car dynoed what's in my sig with a cam-only through a Vette drivetrain. In an F-body, that would be over 420 rwhp, and I still don't have all the bolt-ons. This cam will make 430+ in my car once I get all the bolt-ons that I need with the STOCK injectors.

LT1 motors come with 24# injectors and are good for a little over 400 rwhp on the stock ones. Your car comes with 26# injectors.

Stop passing along misinformation as fact.

If you don't see over 400rwhp, then you should have gone with Futral Motorsports' F-13 or F-14 cam.

Once again, stop spouting-off misinformation. The 1999-2000 cars all had 26# injectors.

You need bigger injectors if you're going with a heads/cam combo like that.

Re: Guess My Dyno Numbers

Dyno'd at 385 RWHP, not sure how correct this number is b/c it was 101 degrees on the dyno. Will have to get a re-dyno in better conditions, how much would this temperature effect the HP output?
