Cool, you'll definately enjoy it! It's a great clutch, it took a little to get used to though, it holds really good and likes to be launched harder! I can't wait, i'm gettin Hooker LT's from Jet-Hot for christmas from my grandma and my Dad's gettin me Taylor thundervolt wires, NGK TR55's, and Redline fluids for the tranny and rear! I'm gonna have to save for the install money for the LT's, and extensions and turndowns, cause i'm gonna leave it open headers! And i'm gonna do the plugs and wires myself. The fluids, i'm gonna have my mechanic do, cause I need my rear checked out, otherwise i'd do it myself. I can't wait to get all that in. Maybe I can squeeze the install money and all out of someone as a X-mas present too!!!!

Devon, sounds like you're going to get 12s for Christmas, sweet . Talk to Brian and/or Dave (with the T/A) about doing the install, both of them know their s**t, especially when it comes to header installs. Doug could do it too but I don't know if you know him. Any of them would probably do it for a good (cheap) price.

About running open headers, I seriously doubt you're going to be able to live with that. I ran open hooker LTs on my '96 for two days and it was f'ing loud...too f'ing loud. It was pretty cool at WOT though . Maybe you could fab something up like the QTP Y, you know with the electric cutouts. There's an exhaust shop off of Commercial (lemme know if you're interested), the guy there does awesome work so maybe he could help you out.

Yeah, definately should be getting 12's for X-mas as long as everything's good with the rear when it gets checked out (otherwise won't be able to go to track and see what it can do till I get a rear)! And I have a guy that i'm gonna take it to for the header install, his name is Mike, his business is cutting edge concepts, he does really good work, and does it at a really good price! As for the open LT's, I should be able to live with it, it can't be that much louder than my setup now, can it? I have the stock manifolds goin through a mac o/r y, and a cutout. I love my car to be loud too, so I don't think I should have a problem. Also, I really wanted to do the hookers with the QTP dual electronic cutout y-pipe, and a dynomouth catback, but I really would like to get this stuff in asap, and it would take me a while to save for all that and the install. At least this way, all I have to save for is the extensions, and turndowns, and the install price. How much louder do you think it will be than my present setup? Also, I have a friend with h/c, hooker lt's into an o/r y, and a custom 3-1/2 in catback that's just straight pipes, and it sounds great (except for the rasp at certain rpm's), would it be much louder than that, cause I love the way that sounds, especially at WOT?!

I almost forgot, I have to get myself a set of Nitto's too!

Devon, trust me...open headers are LOUD. Try it though, put 'em on and drive the car and see if that's what you want...

I dunno if it'll be louder than your friend's car...outside the car but it'll definitely be louder than his inside the car.

Last, I honestly don't think it would sound very good either. With a nice choppy cam it would probably sound bada$$ but not with the stocker.

Yeah, well hopefully the cam will be in before Bradenton in Feb, so I wouldn't have to drive around with it long, just about a month till the nice choppy idle cam goes in!!!!!

I think i'll try it and see if I like it, and if all else fails, it'll be a temporary, and i'll save and get the QTP y-pipe and dynomouth catback. Thanks for the input bro.
