i didnt want a extreme cam/head combo that wouldnt be good as a daily driver and that would also require me to change out other internals

What other internals? All cam changes require springs and you really should do pushrods and while there LS2 cahin and port pump if you want.
The more agressive cams just need springs more often, but my 226 grind has .590 lift and its been in over a year of daily driving w/out a hiccup.

Yes. That would be around 500-550 BHP depending on if you used a FAST 90/90 or not.

Which AFRs? 205cc? 225cc?

I'd do the AFRs to 59cc.

205cc AFR Mongoose will work nicely. Is there any reason you want those heads besides the name? The Dart 225cc are cheaper and work just as well in my personal experience... .I made 471 rwhp with them and a FAST 90/90 with an F-15 112 +2.

Either way, you'd want the heads milled to around 59cc and use the .040" Cometic or stock GM gaskets depending on what compression you want. The .040" gaskets will give you a tight quench and the compression will be somewhere in the high 11s with the 59cc milled head. Perfect for a premium pump gas car.
