I have a friend with a 2002SS, volant air setup & GMMG exhaust, he had the car dyno'd b4 GMMG & after GMMG, his gain was +10rwhp, he was okay with the increase, however he was MUCH MORE pleased with the sound.

Hooker: flows well, but pretty quiet and tips commonly rust, one of the cheapest systems out there
Flowmaster: not best flowing, but sounds great
SLP Dual/Dual: flows OK but also pretty quiet
Magnaflow: flows good, good deep sound too
SLP Loudmouth: Best flowing cat-back available, can be too loud/raspy though (many replace resonator with bullet, like me!)

>$350
Borla: widely adjustable flow/sound feature, pricey
GMMG: chambered, best sounding out there (from what I've heard) but loud, pricey
Corsa: good flow/sound

Considering all these options it's probably in your best interest to use the forum's search feature to get soundbites of the ones that interest you.
Depending on your budget I would suggest SLP Loudmouth for under $350 or GMMG for over $350
Yo, where did you get the bullet muffler from??? I'm going to buy the loudmouth, don't want it TOO loud, getting the bullet muffler to replace the resonator sounds like a great idea! Who makes the bullet muffler that you got?

Holy F#ck Ckilla, you got my dream camaro,
The best looking year, best motor and best trans.
Tell me its black or white. Got a website or pics.
What times are you running.

That's a project I plan to start sometime in the
next 5 years. How hard/costly was the conversation?

Actually the car is my really good friends car. It's Electron blue and for sale as well, the car is stock now. In the pics thats my old black SS next to his car. He managed a 12.6 on street tires, with the 4.10s and only going to the track 2 other times not too bad I guess for the lack of practice.

Carlos, you can pick up a bullet from Summit or Jegs for about $35. You'll want the Dynomax 4" OD / 3" ID Race Bullet, they come in two lengths 12" and 18." I got the 18" inch since I wanted to play it on the safe side with noise.

The car sounds VERY deep but is almost as quiet as stock at idle/parking lot speeds. You'll definitely like it!

Loudmouth sounds really good, especially for the price but it can be too loud and too raspy (especially for police).

I've had Loudmouth and Borla, and I love my Borla. Everytime the car starts up it brings a smile to my face and wakes up everyone in the immediate area (i keep it open ). It's expensive, but if you're building a car an extra 200-300 bucks isn't that much to do it right the first time i think.
