Good deal or not?

i bought a 99 trans am with 29,500 miles(white i think arctic white?) at a dealer for 14,000 out the door. it has the monsoon, 6-speed, leather, and t-tops. is this a good deal? also, i noticed that in the battery area it looked like the battery had leaked because of the paint had been eaten away around the battery. could this mean anything else? the dealership ran a history check and it came out clean. there was only one owner before me. the rest of the car is very nice. what do you all think? thanks!

Re: Good deal or not?

thanks guys. i just wanted to make sure. i guess the only ownerr that had it was a doctor, and he bought it brand new in 99. paint is pretty much perfect on the outside. interior is still good, although the leather does need some conditioniong. it also needs tinted windows cause this arizona sun is killer!

yea, thats exactly the same amount i bought my 99 Z28 with leather, t-tops, and 6 speed also. I also bought it at the dealer with only one owner before me and it only had 22,000 miles on it and i just bought it 6 months ago. Its a great deal. have fun with it!

Re: Good deal or not?

Sounds like a good deal to me. I bought a '99 Z28 on Ebay last November and paid $14,000 for it. Had 31,419 miles when I picked it up in Missouri.

If you like the car, and you feel like you got a good deal, then thats all that matters.

Happy driving.

yea i know what you mean. in all reality, i talked them down to $12,625. the taxes and dealrship fee is why it went up to 14,000. so if u look at it, i got it for 12,6 and the gov/deal got the difference!
