is this a good deal ?

i stopped by at a tire place,
4 kumhos 712 installed for $538.25 (tax included)
make sense ?


sounds too cheap to me..what do you guys think ?

sounds about right to me, i think they are like $102 from tirerack. There is 408 + Tax + Installation + Most likely a markup from the tirerack price.

Id say it would work out about the same if not cheap than the tire rack ones, beause you dont have to ship, then install.

Yeah I think it would be close. $102 x 4=408+$36s&p (that's what I paid for shipping on 4 17/275s)=$444 +$100 mount and balance=$544(not including tax from the place mounting the tires).

So yes, good deal.

They are a great tire for the money. I paid $128 each (275/40/17) at a local Les Schwab .. I like em, great traction in the rain. Though next time it comes around to tires I'm going to try out the Kumho MX's in the rear.

$100 for mounting and balancing is pretty high. Go to Wal-mart. You can get them mounted w/lifetime balancing and rotations for half that.

and walmart is even closer to me. Thanks, I thought $100 was high.
