Good Cheap Drag Radials?

Even drove on them during an ice storm or two and they
performed like a normal tire.

BFG's and Nitto's are the only two that you should consider, IMO.
I don't think there's too much of a difference in price between them. BFG's will hook a little better than the Nitto's but they'll wear a lot quicker too.
Nitto would my choice because they will last longer and IMO they hook plenty good...good enough to break the 10-bolt (you probably won't but you definitely could).

Nitto's aren't that bad in the rain. I used them on my 94Z28 & never had a problem. Granted I knew better than to drive aggresively with them when water was on the road, but I don't do that with street tires.
As far as desireable drag radials there are three categories i'd look at. Traction on dry pavement ET Streets! 2nd BFG Drag Radials! 3rd Nitto's.
Wear length Nitto's win! 2nd BFG's 3rd ET Streets.
Street & track combined use considering all weather conditions.
Nitto's! 2nd BFG's never when wet really. 3rd ET Streets never when wet period!

ok wtfz >_< you said you need new rear tires. do you need new rear STREET tires or want some radials? radials = not daily driver and of course they will feel dangerous in any driving conditions but dry.. for good rear street performance tires id go with Yokohama ES 100's or Nitto555's.
now if your looking for radials the Comp BFG's are good but i wouldnt leave out Mickey Thompson ET Drag's either

For what's it's worth I paid $312 for my BFG Drag rad's to the door step from Summit. You can get them cheaper from the "TireRack" but there back ordered with no info on when the next shipment will come in.

BFG G-FORCE TA Drag radial. If you get a BFG make sure you get these. Do not get the Comp TA. I had the G-Force on the rear of my car and I can tell you one thing. Nothing in the world ever hooked like these tires. They were beyond amazing it scared me. In several tests in magazines when run at 12 psi at the track these things can perform like slicks. I wouldnt recommend running 12 psi on the street. At 35 psi on stock or close to stock car you should be just fine.

in my experience Nittos are better on the street and BFG's are better at the track. The BFG's grab better bhut tend to toss more rocks and road debri than the Nittos.the nittos are basically a really grabby street tires.

BIAS is the other type of tire that is not as common. Usually found with tires needing tubes.
For street - go with Yokohama AVS ES100's
For track - Either the Nittos Extreme Drag for much daily driving as stated or the BFG Drags for more track time.
