gonna order LT headers. coated or uncoated?

just wondering what is the piont to the coating? worth it? i just need some info

If you did a search in the LT1 or LS1 tech, you would find the answer.

Coated headers help keep in the heat from the engine....like up to 200*. Keeping the eingine cooler is much better for the engine, and coated headers are a lot less likely to rust. I think it's also good for like 1HP or something....

Definately coated. But don't skimp on it. Make sure it's oustide AND inside. Longer lasting and cooler engine bay temps.

It'll keep the engine bay temps cooler, and the headers themselve will look much better...no messy paint peel etc.

Gotta be coated but the tough question to answer is which lt headers to go with? Too many choices? Consider ground clearance, the sound of them and the price. I like QTP or FLP lt headers. You better do some homework before you spend big bucks on this mod.
