Yes, Matt Murphy was the dude that was rude to me on the phone. The chick who answered the phone spoke to me like I as dumb and Matt is the OWNER of GMMG! If the owner of a business is rude and a jerk then what does that say about the rest of the company? I know a lot of other Camaro guys that don't post in these forums who feel the same way that most of us feel about GMMG. Maybe this is one reason there's not many GMMG exhausts out there not to mention they are almost $900.00 w/tips shipped plus install @ about $1,000.00 total!

Why is it Camaro companies, Camaro speed shops have bad people(bad attitudes) working there?

Why is it most Chevrolet dealerships, after you buy your SS, they don't give a s___ about you anymore. You go back to the dealer for a problem and they treat you like your a pain in the a__.

I used to own a BMW M4 and I never had a bad experience and the people were nice, professional people.

I wonder if any of the Ford guys on this board get treated like this at their dealers and tuners.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Ray66. They sure were nice when I was looking to buy (although pretty dumb about their own product even then, I should have seen my problems with them coming). Have you made up your mind which system to buy now that GMMG is ruled out?

Guys, GMMC is not meant to be a direct-to-the-consumer company, at least not yet. I know Matt personally and he is incredibly busy trying to run his business. It is still new and he has a not of things to take care of.

Yes, his exhaust is on his web site, and maybe it should not be as of right now because I think he isn't quite ready to get to the segment of selling to the public.

So, if you have a problem with him personally, take it up with him directly but don't belittle him or his employees here. Like I said, I know him and he is a great guy. I am not sure why conversations with him or his employees aren't working out well, but maybe you should ask him. His e-mail is GMMGINC1@aol.com. I suggest at the most constructive criticism instead of being outright asses (no accusations, just a suggestion). You might be surprised.

Just for the record, we've had much better luck with the people at Ford. A few years back my husband bought a Mustang GT from them and had great service. He sold that and bought a new Corvette at a Chev dealer, hasn't had great service and he didn't buy from the same dealership I bought my SS from. Last year he needed just a little car to drive back and forth to the airport so he picked up a used Escort from the same Ford place and again we've had nothing but good relations with them. His salesman still calls occasionally to make sure things are going fine and the one small problem he did have with the Escort was taken care of immediately, unlike my SS which a year later is still suffering the stupidity of the Chev dealership. I guess, had I the ability to do it again, I might not even buy this car.

BUT, in the realm of fairness, I bought a '96 Nissan 300ZX mainly because it was their last year of production and I won't even begin to tell you the horrible service and inept people I had to deal with there. Had a problem, it was a 5-speed and they repaired it with parts for an automatic and then couldn't figure out why I had even more problems, duh! Long story and in the end, when I sold it to a doctor in the area, I found out that the whole right rear quarter panel had been damaged in transit, the dealer repaired it, repainted it and didn't let me know about it. (Finally found out why there was such a long delay in getting that car) Isn't there some kind of law that requires them to let you know if your car is damaged before you even drive it off their lot???
