fuel rail covers from a vett
Re: fuel rail covers from a vett
I think it is the 2001 Vette that will fit the 99's. You need to go to your dealership and get them to pull a pic of them up on the screen and see which year has two fuel line openings. You will need the one w/ the two fuel line openings. I made this mistake myself, and ordered the 99 vette covers thinking they would be the same. Please be sure to check the years yourself, and not take my words for solid truth! It has been over 3 years!
How do they fit?
You will need to cut these to make them fit correctly. On the pass. side, you will be cutting quite a bit off the rear of the cover, the hole for the dip stick, and a slot for the throttle cable bracket.
On the driver's side, you won't be cutting as much. You need to try to fit them on, and cut a little as you go. It will take a few hours, maybe, some patience, and your dremel tool.
They end up fitting well, and as long as you take your time, you shouldn't have any problems.
