Fuel Line to Fuel Pres. Gauge
ok this is beyond annoying
I have a cobalt electronic fuel pressure gauge form autometer - it comes with a 1/8" NPT sender that needs to connect to the fuel rail line - the fuel rail line is -4AN
both are male ends
I ordered a custom made fitting (garbage) from hphose.com - and it was a one piece fitting to connect the sender to the fuel line - of course it didnt fit properly and i had fuel shoot out
My second attempt was with a teflon (coupler) 4an hose and a standard steel fitting (male to female meant for autometer senders) and on the npt fitting side it was not a good fit and of course fuel spat out of the npt side
I'm beginning to think the npt sender from autometer is not a 1/8"npt??? Even with a teflon seal over the threads it leaks
Has anyone here hooked up a fuel pressure gauge on a `98 LS1 - please offer any advice or which fittings/hoses you used
thanks
