flat spot.....bog....need some help

flat spot.....bog....need some help

ok here is the deal.....2000 ss ,m6,80000 miles. all new delco parts,plugs, wires, fuel filter. 60 psi at rail, no codes, i unpluged tps and ran multimeter on it and its good! ran the car with maf unplugged and it runs awesome! any ideas here? the car falls hard on its face....

Did you clean the MAF?

MAF has failed. Get a new one (or verified good used one) and swap it out and you will be back to normal. Your staying in closed loop so it will run fine but your running on the default rich side so your fuel economy will suk.

yes the maf is cleaned...what are your thoughts on an slp maf? or should i get a delco? i did a search on them and it seems either slp or gm only? thanks for your help!

Don't waste your money on an SLP MAF.

thanks ! car is back to life! the new gm maf is all plastic.....doesnt look anything like the old one,but works perfect!
