First Post! Got a Questions for you guys.

I have heard sound clips of the TSP Rumbler. However the exhaust looks like you could just by a Bullet and put it in the I-pipe and have pretty much the same exhaust for cheaper. Would that be true or is it just me. If it is true what size Bullet does the Rumbler use.

I'm wanting to make the T/A sound mean like the Chevelle sounded.

no stock or bolt on LS1 will sound like a built BBC through duals.

on that note. the advantage of the Rumbler is that it is 3", upgrading from the stock 2.75" stock setup. not to mention it offers you the split for the rear exits and the chrome tips.

if you want a real rumble like the old BBCs...true duals with chambered mufflers. or try the GMMG setup.

look into www.ls1sounds.com

Doesn't have to be chambered sticks. Chambered stick mufflers are overglorified, overpriced glasspacks. Just pick up some packs for under $30 and have the same sound.
Personally, I hate the crackle.

I just stuck some 3" Dynomax bullets in my setup. No more crackle.

I have a couple vids of my car of how an LS1 can sound when you hook it up.

The Rumbler is available with no tips or a set of smoked oval tips.

When my car only had a SLP y-pipe and the Rumbler, it did sound like a muscle car and I think the y-pipe had something to do with it. My friend's friend has an SS with the same mods (minus the y-pipe) as me and his car sounded throaty while mine sounded deep.

I don't recommed SLP's y-pipe if you're ever buying headers, but I do believe that's what made the sound difference between my car and his.

Re: First Post! Got a Questions for you guys.

I plan on making the car a good bit wilder when I graduate High School. Probally H/C and S/C but it will be left alone for now. I just wanted to know if the Bullet in the I-pipe would be a good sound for now. I eventually want the Trans Am were it would walk off and leave my old Chevelle. But its fine as the High School Daily Driver

I put this exhaust on the TA and had nothing but positive remarks from everyone everywhere about it. I loved the way it sounded especially after I cammed it.

I put texas speed true duals on the car so I put the TSP Rumbler "muffler back" on the LT1 and it sounds even better on the LT1.

I think youll love the exhaust.
