Finished Hooker LT Headers Install

After 2 days of scraped hands, busted nuckles, and cut fingers we finally got the darn things on. I think if I installed it again we could do it easily in less than a day. A lot of it was just trying to figure out what to and what not to take off. Had a few places where we thought we would have to give up but a quick post on the boards solved most of our problems. We drove to town and back in it tonight with nothing but turndowns on the headers. It was insanely loud and the idle on it sounded absolutely wicked. Were gonna put the muffler on it monday when the shop is open. I'll update on the sound when it's on. 2 big thumbs up for Hooker Headers, they're really sweet sounding.

I have the coated Hookers and have nothing bad to say about them. No rubbing or clearance issues. Did you re-use the factory bolts?

For those that have had Hooker headers for some time, aren't there issues with bolts coming loose?

Does the coating peel or crack?

I don't have any clearance, or coating problems, but it has only been a few months. I used the Stage 8 locking bolts, that's why I was asking about the stock bolts. The stock bolts worked fine with my old MAC headers.

I re-used the stock bolts with some threadlock and new OEM gaskets from GM.
