I can tell you they offered it in 2001, not sure before 2001.

Bluntdogg, congrats on your new ride.

No t-tops?! Shooot I wouldn't have bought the car if it didn't have those.

Here's a side shot

So basically I'm looking at a lid & filter, catback, y-pipe, and headers for solid 12's. Not bad at all. Can all this be had for under a grand?

Take a pic of the back, that will show if you have the slp exhaust or stock SS exhaust. As far as price a lid & filter can be anywhere from $150-$200 shipped. LT headers generally come with a y-pipe & they run anywhere from $600-$1500 shipped. Catbacks range from $275-$800.

nitto 555r's- 320 plus install (about 40)

slp Y pipe- 210

pipe through the cats- 50

so about 850 and u better be in the 12's if not pushing mid 12's

hmmm
thats pretty interesting...

as for your rear gears.. stock. they are 3.42.. no mistake no uncertainty.. If you are M6 you are 3.42.

hurst shifter was not an SLP part...

I have a bone stock Z28 and am pushing 13.2-4.. I know it can do 13.1-2 consistantly based on weight and power.. I probably make the same power as you if not a tad more.

I would suggest 2 things before spending a dime on mods..
1: dyno
2: track

both of these will tell you where you are and what you will need to do go get where you want to be.. (same place as me.. but I adont like exhaust.. dont want to give up MPG.. dont like loud (no lid.. Filter made me lose power)... so I am still searching and thinking.. for the RIGHT mod...

Check my dyno pulls in my sig...

good luck.. see... we arent mean at all to newbs.. import rice kdis are mean.. domestic people are down home nice people..

I was doing some looking around, I've seen quotes that a Lid/Filter can add up to 20hp and 2mph. If that's true that's one hell of a nice mod for so cheap. I'm looking at picking up the TSP lid in the next couple of months.

Question, what should come first, headers or a cat-back? And do I have to get an upgraded y-pipe or will the headers bolt to the stock one?

exhaust first then headers

shorty headers will bolt up to the existing y-pipe

long tube headers will need an aftermarket y-pipe.
