what are ppl running on the stock rear end?

Auto?

M6? ( i know of ppl braking the rear end w M6 and sticky tires!)

Anyone alse think the rear end is the best place to start when making a "fast" LS1?

 

I'm still using the stock rearend. The gears were changed to 3.73s but the rest of the rearend is stock. My car is an A4 and runs 6.9s on our eighth mile track. That should equate to about a 10.8 quarter. Not too shabby for a daily driven full weight car.

 

GHOSTRACER wetn 10.80 on the stock 10 bolt. Full weight, 98 formula, A4.

Next season he broke it three times though, lol.

 

I ran a 1.496 60' on my stock rear end. My car is fairly light, under 3200 pounds.

 

My buddies 02 ss went 10.8's full weight, but that was on his drag radials, ET's may have not been as friendly.
