Had my McCord for just short of a year now and have had no problems with it. Use it sometimes several times in a week. Both have had their problems and still do. The QTEC I know have problems with the motor screws vibrating loose and binding the motor. Most people pull them out and locktit them in.

Which is best? There is no answer for that, all you will get is someones opinion, right or wrong.

I have McCord's and have had very few problems. He did have a problem with the motor overheating but has since fixed that problem. As Keith's customer service is first rate as well.

The original McCord Power Plate had some problems, but they have resolved the issues and the new McCord Power Plate 2 (MPP2) is a rock solid piece from what I've heard, and Keith is GREAT to deal with.

I ordered mine with a few custom options (LED Delete, LED Operation flip-flop, custom switch with built in light, pre-wired to said switch with relay) and am expecting it any day now.

I would say either one is a safe bet.
